In 2013 the first asphalt road was built using our mix of fibers. The fibers absorb high trafic, braking and transfer heavy wheel loads to the foundation below.
This prolongs chance of rutting and cracks, resulting in more sustainable asphalt.
Because extending the lifetime is the key quality of fiber reinforced asphalt, multiple private and public road testcases were launched which will be evaluated over time.
Based on these evaluations we oficially started our asphalt fibers sales in 2020.
